“Journal Quilts: Experiments with Small Works” with Sue Rutford
Sunday, October 26, 9 am - 4 pm
Cost: Members $55 Non-Members $65 Includes Kit Fee of: $10

One of the original concepts behind journal quilts was encouraging quilters to create small quilts as a way to experiment with new themes, techniques, and ideas. This workshop will teach and allow you to try a variety of surface design and quilting techniques to spark your creativity and give you some new tools in your quilting repertoire. The workshop is structured as a series of demonstrations followed by time to try the technique. We will work with paint, foil, screens, bleach, paintstiks, and more. Come prepared to play and learn and have a lot of fun. Click here to download a registration form.
