Colorado Springs, CO

The 23rd Annual Exhibition will be held at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum from August 30, 2008 to November 1, 2008. CQC co-sponsors this Exhibition and awards $1,500.00 in prizes. The quilts that place are also awarded a beautiful medallion (with ribbon attached) made by Stephanie Haitz. All entered quilts will be judged and every entrant will receive their judging evaluation form. All CQC members and residents of Colorado are invited to submit a quilt(s). Please consider entering your quilt into this exceptional Exhibition. Click here to download the application and more information.

The Exhibition of Quilts and Fine Woodworking is an outstanding example of two crafts coming together. The Museum exhibits about 40 quilts on the walls and the woodworkers display their finest efforts (furniture, clocks, bowls, etc.) in the exhibition space. The quilts and the wood together are very complimentary. There will be free "white glove tours" of the quilts in the exhibit from 10:00 a.m. to noon each Saturday the exhibit is open. No reservations are necessary.
